About Me
This year marks my twenty-sixth in public school teaching. I am lucky enough to have a profession that I love. Coming to work each day, offers new opportunities for me to learn and grow with my students. Hopefully at the end of the day, we are all better for our time spent together and more enthusiastic about the process of learning. I have taught in all grades 1-8.
I am sixth of seven children, raised and educated in Indiana. I earned my BS in Elementary Education and Reading (1982) from Indiana University. My MS degree was earned in School Administration (1990) from the University Dayton in Ohio. My husband and I have lived and worked in the states of Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Maryland, and Georgia and the foreign countries of Germany and Australia.
My husband and two children keep me busy when not at school. Other hobbies include travel, reading, and walking with Winnie, the family Gordan Setter. The photo above is me in Boston, Massachusetts this past summer.
